Omg! spoke with a source close to Bynes on Friday morning who says she sounded "wasted" and "out of it" on Thursday evening. The source adds that the bigger problem for her legally is that she just pled no contest in Burbank, California, earlier this month for driving on a suspended license and this arrest is a probation violation. As reported, the off-the-rails former child star, whose erratic behavior over the last year has been well documented, was arrested in her Times Square high-rise apartment building after she was allegedly smoking marijuana in the lobby and then retreated to her 36th floor unit, where she dangerously threw a bong from a window when police arrived at her door. She was arrested for reckless endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, and physical possession of marijuana, law enforcement authorities confirmed to "omg! Insider." Bynes was initially taken from her apartment to nearby Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, according to WNBC. She was then brought to a Midtown police station to be processed.
