Leonardo DiCaprio: King of the … Bike Lane

Leonardo DiCaprio, Citi Biker (Startraks Photo) With his recent paycheck for "The Great Gatsby," Leonardo DiCaprio could own his own fleet of high-level bicycles, but he was just your average New Yorker earlier this week when he tested out the city's new bike share program.
The 38-year-old looked completely at ease while pedaling around Soho Monday on a Citi Bike. And he was sensibly dressed, too. The model lover had on jeans, a T-shirt, and some kicks.

But it wasn't all sensible. The star neglected to wear a helmet (tsk-tsk!), but didn't forget to bring along his electronic cigarette, which he puffed on while wheelin'.
Call us crazy, but we think having two hands to navigate would be the way to go while trying to avoid speeding taxis, jaywalking pedestrians, and crater-like potholes.
DiCaprio is one of a handful of celebs who have been seen taking the bright blue bikes out for a spin in the Big Apple. Seth Meyers, Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy , and Louis C.K.
have also been photographed testing out the system, which costs $95 for an annual membership or $9.95 for a day trip.
In other words, chump change for someone like DiCaprio, whose main mode of transportation is a $100,000 Fisker Karma hybrid. Now if only he'd spring for a bike helmet.
